Next Class TBA
Second marriages, blended families and step-parenting bring special blessings, but also unique challenges. If you're trying to thrive as a blended family (or even just survive)—you're not alone! Scott Landon is a Door Creek Church attender who happens to be not just a licensed counselor, but also specialist in healthy blended families. Smart Step Families is an eight-week, Christ-centered course where you'll discover friendship, practical wisdom and spiritual support for your journey!
OBJECTIVE:
Discover key steps to build a healthy blended family in everyday life by gaining valuable insight and tips to become Stepfamily Smart.
WHAT IS A BLENDED FAMILY? A blended family (known as a stepfamily) forms when one or both adults in a new marriage bring at least one child from a previous relationship into the family. (Legally, adopted children of a parent are considered the same as if they are biologically related.)

The class is designed for any stepcouple looking for specific skills, tools or support to manage the unique challenges of blended family life.

- Book: The Smart Stepfamily will be supplied for free for the first twenty-five adults that sign up. Portions of book will be required reading for class.
