Tim Borgstrom
DeForest Worship Director
My wife Cindi and I have been married since 2005. We faced infertility but God miraculously blessed us with two amazing children, Zoë (Greek for abundant/everlasting life) and Hallie (a short form Hallelujah).
I have a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering, but God had other plans for my life! I have served as a missionary with InterVarsity Christian Fellowship since 2003.
Musically, I grew up in a church that consisted of hand bells, hymns and a choir, and I played saxophone throughout middle and high school. When I joined a non-denominational church youth group in high school, I was fascinated with worship music that included instruments other than the organ, which inspired me to learn guitar. I have served in various worship capacities as a camp counselor, church volunteer and leader since 1998.
When I’m not working, being a spouse or dad, I enjoy gigging in the summer playing cover music and I’m also a total board game nerd!
