This page explores the importance of finding, understanding and using our spiritual gifts in life. Spiritual gifts are differing abilities given by the Holy Spirit to each believer to meet the needs and purposes of God's church. They are the equipment God gives us to benefit others, reflecting His love to the people around us. We don't choose our gift or earn them. Spiritual gifts are given to us. They reveal that God is here and working to fulfill His purpose in the church. We need each other! Needs are met when the church body is thriving and using our gifts in love.

What God made us to BE determines what He intends for us to DO. We better understand the purpose for which we were created when we understand the kind of person we are. God is consistent in His plan for each of our lives. He would not give us inborn talents and temperaments, spiritual gifts, and all sorts of life experiences and then not use them! By reviewing and studying these factors, we can discover the ministry God has for us—the unique way God intends for us to serve Him.
What am I gifted to do?
What do I love to do?
What natural talents and skills do I have?
Where does my personality best suit me to serve?
What experiences have I had that might point me to an area of ministry?
The next section is the SHAPE assessment. These are not "tests." There are no right or wrong answers. The purpose of this assessment is to show how God made you a unique creation and give you a better understanding of yourself and your spiritual gifts.
The purpose of this assessment is to show how God made you a unique creation with a purpose. You will gain a better understanding of yourself and your spiritual gifts and discover the best place for you to serve based on who you are.
There are five parts to the SHAPE assessment, and it will take about 30 to 45 minutes to complete. The spiritual gifts results will be emailed. After completing the assessment, if you have questions about the results, contact Bev Krizan.
Now that you have a better understanding of how to use your gifts and abilities in ministry, it is the perfect time to take the next step.
