Group UP happens three times a year in September, January and April and is a great time to get plugged into a small group or class. During Group UP, you can check out all new and open groups online or fill out the form below for help getting connected.
Groups are key to building meaningful relationships and growing closer to God. Most of our groups are sermon-based, discussing and digging deeper into the weekend's message. We have groups that meet online or in-person. If you would like to be connected with a small group, view our available groups using our online tool or fill out this form and we will help you find a group that's a good fit for you. There are also groups created around specific needs, including life stage, Care & Support groups and topical study groups.
Classes, groups and events are hosted at all campuses and intended for everyone! If you see something that interests you, you are invited to attend, no matter what campus you call home.
A Life Group is a small group of people who gather regularly for Bible study, prayer and care, building friendship and serving together. Some Life Groups are formed with people in similar life stages or who have similar life experiences and others are created by geographic location.
In Life Groups, real life and real issues are discussed and the Bible is explored. Many Life Groups gather to discuss questions from the weekend message while others may choose to study a book of the Bible or another biblical curriculum.
Life Groups meet for three sessions - fall, winter and spring and take a break for the summer. These groups meet to study God’s word and build relationships and are made up of 8-12 people. Sign up for groups happens 2-3 weeks prior to the beginning of each session. Available groups can be viewed here. For additional assistance, contact .

Have you ever wondered is there more to life than this? If you have, check out Exploring Christianity (Alpha 1). No matter what your background is or your views on Christianity, this is the place to come and investigate the existence of God and the basics of Christianity.
The Jesus Lifestyle (Alpha II) examines Jesus’ Sermon on the Mount and the radical alternative it presents to the modern lifestyle. Each talk provides life application principles that can be applied to live the life that Jesus wants us to live. The Jesus Lifestyle course is an excellent follow up for guests who have just completed Exploring Christianity (Alpha I) but anyone is welcome.
The Door Creek Church membership class serves as one of your steps for growth at Door Creek. Whether you want to join the church or just want to find out more about who we are and why we do things the way we do, you’ll enjoy getting to know our pastors and each other during the class.
The marriage course is for any couple, whether you have been together for one year or 61 years and whether you feel you have a strong relationship or are struggling! Whatever your situation, the practical tools you learn will help improve and strengthen your relationship.
Financial Peace University is a nine-week financial planning program that teaches God’s ways of handling money. This class will help you get rid of debt, manage your money, spend and save wisely, and much more!
Spiritual gifts are differing abilities given by the Holy Spirit to each believer to meet the needs and purposes of God's church. They are the equipment God gives us to benefit others, reflecting His love to the people around us. We don't choose our gift or earn them. Spiritual gifts are given to us. They reveal that God is here and working to fulfill His purpose in the church. We need each other! Needs are met when the church body is thriving and using our gifts in love.
Join us for treats and to learn more about our Senior Adults 55+ Ministry and events we have planned for the fall semester.
