Lead Pastor of Door Creek Church
Married: 35 years
First Fight: Over what type of kitchen broom to buy.
Best Marriage Advice: Don’t talk about money and serious issues after 9 pm.
Favorite activity together: Taking walks
I'm married to Lori and we have five wonderful kids, one son-in-law and we welcomed our first grandson in 2017! As a family, we love to cook together, take long hikes and work on projects around the house. I love almost all sports and also working with my hands - from cooking to construction projects! I knew I wanted to be a pastor when I was 13 years old! I studied at Bethel College and Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. I love leading a team and being part of a church that is excited to join God in His mission in this world, starting in our own backyard. Studying and teaching the Bible to the end that we live it is a huge joy. What really makes for a great day is sharing the gospel with someone who is far from God.

Worship Pastor of Door Creek Church
First Fight: Who's the better driver.
Best Marriage Advice: Always keep Christ at the center of your marriage and remember that you were friends first. Feed the friendship no matter what.
Born and raised in Wisconsin, I love my home state and the people who call it home! My wife Nicky and I met at UW Stevens Point where we were both music majors and involved in the Cru worship band. During my time there, I began to sense a call to pastoral ministry, specifically as a Pastor of Worship. We moved to the Kenosha area to pursue pastoral training in the context of the local church and I later studied at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. Nicky and I have four young children and we love doing things as a family. I love wearing sandals, being outside, cooking for others, coffee, camping, music gear, concerts and day trips to fun and interesting places with my family.
